Президент России Владимир Путин на совещании по развитию закрытых административно-территориальных образований и арктических городов заявил, что задача развития населенных пунктов Арктики имеет важное военное значение. Его слова приводит РИА Новости.

По его словам, здесь много интересов с точки зрения обороны и безопасности — «люди должны жить в человеческих условиях». Российский глава подчеркнул, что на это нужно обратить особое внимание.

20 июля принял участие в церемонии отправки из Мурманска на Гыдан первой СПГ-линии для завода «Арктик СПГ 2». Запуск первой линии «Арктик СПГ-2» запланирован на конец 2023 года-начало 2024 года.
